How to Apply

The School on Digital Constitutionalism is a three-day program dedicated to addressing the ground-breaking legal, political, and economic challenges posed by digital technologies. We welcome scholars, practitioners, and students who share our passion for law, policy, and technology to apply and join us in exploring the ever-evolving landscape of digital governance.

Theme of the Year

This year, our focus is squarely on platform regulation, as we aim to delve deep into the multifaceted challenges posed by online platforms. We invite all applicants to reflect on this pivotal topic as they prepare their applications for the School.

Application Process

To apply to the School, candidates should submit the following documents:

  1. Curriculum Vitae: Please provide a comprehensive CV that highlights your academic and professional background.
  2. Cover Letter: Your cover letter should briefly introduce yourself, explain your interest in participating in the school on digital constitutionalism

Please ensure that you complete your application accurately and successfully upload both your CV and cover letter, as incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application Deadline

Applications will be accepted until 29 January 2024, and should be submitted via the following application module.

Language Requirement

All classes at the School are conducted in English, so participants should possess a strong command of the English language. No language certificate is required, but fluency in English is essential.

Eligibility

Applicants of all nationalities are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Selection and Notification

Our panel will evaluate applications and notify selected candidates by 10 February 2024. Admitted candidates will receive an acceptance email with detailed information about the next steps in the process.

Tuition Fee

Selected candidates will receive a link to register online and make the tuition fee payment. 

The tuition fee for participation in the School is 500 euros, which includes materials, lunches, coffee breaks, the first-day reception, and the social dinner for participants in Florence.

Scholarship Opportunity

We are pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships that cover the tuition fee for deserving candidates. To apply for a scholarship, please submit a contribution on the theme of platform regulation, with a maximum word limit of 2000 words.

The organizing and scientific committee will carefully evaluate all scholarship applications and award scholarships to the most outstanding contributions for this year. Please note that the submission of a contribution does not guarantee automatic receipt of a scholarship.
