Attendants Information for The DigiConference IV: What You Need to Know
We are thrilled to welcome our community and speakers to The DigiConference IV in Lisbon on the 24th and 25th of October 2024. To ensure your participation goes smoothly, here are some key details you need to know:
Event Location and Timing
The DigiConference IV will be held at the PLMJ Headquarters in the heart of Lisbon, located at Av. Fontes Pereira de Melo, 43, Lisbon 1050-119. We ask that all speakers/attendants arrive by 2:45 PM to allow for smooth preparations, as the conference will kick off promptly at 3:00 PM.
We will have a day and a half of discussions and community building, this time focusing on different dimensions of ownership and AI.
Getting to the Venue from Lisbon Airport
For those arriving from Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport, here are two convenient ways to reach the venue:
1. By Metro:
After landing, follow signs to the Metro station located inside the airport. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the arrivals area.
Take the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) in the direction of São Sebastião.
After approximately 20 minutes, you’ll arrive at Saldanha Station.
From Saldanha, the PLMJ Headquarters is just a 10-minute walk.
2. By Uber:
Alternatively, you can request an Uber directly from the airport. The ride to PLMJ Headquarters typically takes about 15-20 minutes and costs between €10-15, depending on traffic.
Final Reminders
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions before the event. We can’t wait to hear from you and see the amazing contributions you’ll bring to this year’s DigiConference.
Stay tuned for more updates, and safe travels!
Conference Details
Our annual DigiConference (our fourth!) is finally here.
With a new format and venue. It will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 24th and 25th of October 2024. We were fortunate to count on the support of a local lawfirm – PLMJ – which will provide a beautiful venue, together with the support of several academic and private partners, including Católica Global School of Law.

DISCUSS IDEAS AND ACTIONS
The Digicon has decided to change a bit how we share knowledge in our annual conference by asking for a frank exchange of ideas and actions. These should serve as recommendations to inspire regulatory players to act in a given direction.
Those ideas will then be allocated a specific commentator, who will present the idea and criticize it for the author, engaging in direct debate with that vision for a regulatory future.
We can’t wait to get the DigiCon gang back together, this time in sunny Lisbon, Portugal!
